[서울=뉴시스] 이재우 기자 = 도널드 트럼프 미국 대통령이 러시아와 우크라이나가 '에너지 휴전'에 합의했다고 주장했지만 양측은 에너지 휴전을 발표하지 않고 있다. 양측은 트럼프 대통령의 발언 다음날인 15일(현지시간) 상대방의 에너지 시설을 타격했다.

타스통신과 인테르팍스 등에 따르면 러시아 크렘린궁은 트럼프 대통령의 제안을 환영한다면서도 우크라이나의 상선 안전 통항 보장이 선행돼야 한다고 주장했다. 서방의 대(對)러시아 제재 해제도 촉구했다.

드미트리 페스코프 크렘린궁 대변인은 기자들과 만나 "우크라이나가 밤사이 러시아의 에너지 시설 한 곳을 타격하려고 시도했다"며 "우리는 트럼프 대통령이 제안한 에너지 휴전을 좋은 생각이라고 평가한다. 우리는 미국 측과 접촉하고 있고 언제나 평화적인 해결책의 편에 있다"고 말했다.

이어 "정유시설의 안전한 가동을 보장하고 석유제품 생산량을 늘리는 것만으로는 세계적 문제를 해결할 수 없다"며 "핵심적인 문제는 석유제품을 세계시장으로 반출하는 데 있기 때문"이라고 했다.

그는 "세계 시장의 문제를 해결하려면 첫 번째로 유조선의 안전 운항을 보장해야 한다"며 "우크라이나는 현재까지 안전을 보장하려는 태도를 보이지 않고 있다"고 말했다.

그러면서 "두 번째로 해야할 일은 제재를 철폐하는 것"이라며 "러시아뿐 아니라 다른 모든 국가의 에너지 자원과 석유제품 공급에 대한 모든 제한과 모든 불법 제재를 철폐해야 한다"고 말했다.

안드리 시비하 우크라이나 외무장관은 같은날 키이우에서 열린 기자회견에서 "파트너들은 우리의 입장을 알고 있다. 에너지 휴전을 함께 실현하기 위한 몇 가지 추가 제안도 가까운 국제 파트너들로부터 받았다"며 "우리는 이런 노력을 환영하며 그것이 원하는 결과로 이어지기를 바란다"고 말했다.

키이우 인디펜던트에 따르면 키이우시 군사행정청은 이날 오전 러시아 드론 공격으로 주유소 2곳이 피격됐다고 밝혔다.
